My Portraits

Photography—it’s all about passion, skill, and commitment. Ever wondered what a day in the life of a photographer is like? the answer is silent because his hunt is unlimited and waiting for best moment to capture best actions. Commonly people think that a wildlife photographer only interested to capture beautiful wildlife photographs. Despite the fact is that ideal wildlife photographer priorities photographs capture more actions rather than animals.

First thing we need to do understand our camera settings for portrait photography. A professional DSLR camera has many options including shutter speed, exposure compensation, aperture, ISO, lens, etc. we should check the exposure and composition to make sure that the object is bright enough. I am recommend that you use reflectors for best results.

Planning the pose is extremely important for portraits. The biggest challenge you will face is camera shyness. wwe should choose a pose where your model is comfortable, so they can fully express themselves. In my experience, kids are easy to work with as they are always full of energy whereas you have to work a bit harder with elder folks.

Often people are afraid of making mistakes while in front of a camera. To combat their nerves, it’s helpful if you can introduce a prop. A prop can be anything such as a chewing gum, toys, keys etc. It will distract them from the big camera lens between you two, so you can capture their best moments.

The angle you shoot the photo can make a huge difference when it comes to the quality. we should consider lighting as an important factor when moving around. If using natural light, then we need to adjust our angles accordingly. If shooting kids, then i recommend to go down on your knees for the best portrait. Always try to move around and take each shot from multiple angles to give you prefect coverage of subject.

If at all possible, we should try find an angle which can add a frame in your portrait. Having your subject in the middle of the frame with a good background makes a stunning portrait. It allows you to put our model as a primary focus while offering tons of scenery around them.

If we’re doing a family portrait, then we recommended taking multiple shots in different environments. The more we can plan in advance, the better it is. If we can get your clients to change clothes between shoots to add more variety, then it will help you get better results.

If we have ever shot a session with kids, then understood that most kids don’t like staying at the same place. That’s why we recommend asking the parents to engage with the kids in an activity. While they are distracted in the activity, we will be able to snap some of the best shots of the day.

As a professional photographer, we must know the ups and downs during the shoot. Holding the reflectors, moving the lights, and other things have to be checked. we should take someone with on the shoot for helping and adjusting the things. Having a second opinion is also helpful in brainstorming ideas for poses and can make our life a lot easier.

know our model thinks we are a magicians who can make every shot a perfect one? Well, we can become a magician. I am recommend that not to talk about the technicalities of photography with your client. Miracles do happen, but to leave everything on luck is not a good habit.

Remeber one thing all experts were once beginners. They not born as professionals, keep hardwork and try to do something extra minded to reach the hights where you are dreaming. I am like one of you, still learning and researching whats i can do something special, I hope one day i will reach the hight where i am dreaming.
